2023 Alex Moreau Bourgogne Chardonnay

Significant changes have taken place at the estate previously known as Bernard Moreau, as brothers Alex and Benoît have divided the domaine and now run separate operations. Starting with the 2021 vintage, the estate has now been renamed Domaine Alex Moreau in recognition of Alex's three decades of dedication to the family venture.

Aromas of petrol, straw and various white orchard fruit are complemented by lush but punchy flavors that conclude in a mildly rustic that displays solid depth and persistence. This is quite good for its level and it's slightly more structured than the average example as well for those who like to age their Bourgogne. Drink through 2027+.
