2022 Tscharke A Thing of Beauty Grenache
Juicy red to dark fruits with a long peppery finish.
Certified organic. Semi translucent red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Pepper laced aromas of dark raspberry and dark cherry are complimented by some liquorice, scorched earth and graphite like notes. Juicy dark raspberry, red liquorice and dark cherry fruits flood the mouth with vanillin spice, scorched earth and blackpepper characters extending across the back half. Polished tannins and good underlying freshness finishing long, succulent and peppery.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Other Reviews....
Marananga-sourced grenache … pretty close to the border of where the dialect changes and the old-timers call the grape 'Greeeeeen-ash'. A gentle ruby in the glass. It's a pretty-smelling little thing. All cherries and wild strawberry. Raspberry too, with hints of citrus blossom, gingerbread, rose petals, exotic spice, charcuterie, earth and distant glimpses of sarsaparilla. Airy and spacious with lots of detail, a vivid minerally tension and a chalky, savoury sour cherry sheen to its passing. Drink by 2030.
