A rich, lush Montepulciano with prominent vanillin oak and a ripe chewy tannin structure.

For the eighth or ninth year in a row… we’ve lost count… this wine has yet again received a 99 point rating from Italian wine critic Luca Maroni.
Aged for 9 months in French and American oak barriques. Dense inky black in colour with a very deep dak red black hue. Pronounced liquorice and ripe morello cherry aromas combine with vanillin spice, scorched earth and cinnamon notes. Rich lush morello cherry, black plum and liquorice fruits meld into a prominent vanillin oak, earthy cinnamon and spice back drop. Ripe chewy tannin structure with vanillin oak and cinnamon spice characters lingering across the finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
