2022 Small Victories Wine Co. Grenache Mataro Rose

Fruit was sourced from the Barossa Valley and Riverland. Translucent damask pink tinged colour. Delightful red raspberry, musk and strawberry scents intermingle with peach and spice notes. Energetic raspberry, peach and strawberry fruits make a supple entry with some stony mineral characters in the background. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and a snappy yet savoury aftertaste.

This is a cracking rosé with all the fruit flavour you could ask for, but at the same time everything is presented within a savoury context. Twig and dry spice notes mingle with red cherry, strawberry and apple. It's dry, serious and fun at once. In short, it's bonza. Drink by 2026.
