2022 Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak hogsheads and puncheons. Semi translucent dark red core with black shaded edges and a red hue. Displaying a perfumed like intensity aromas of violets, red cherries and strawberries sail out of the glass complexed by notions of forest floor, brambly cedar, dried herbs and spice. Light, elegant and supple across the palate, red cherry, cranberry and winter strawberry fruits infused with fresh herbs overlay delicate forest floor and spicy cedar characters. Fine grained tannins and fresh acidity with a mid length finish that shows good refinement.
