2022 Scanlon Estate Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 11 months. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red tinged hue. Perfumed violet like aromas are followed by dark cherry, strawberry and subtle anise notes. Also evident are dried herb, forest floor and spicy cedar. Light and elegant across the palate with a supple feel, dark cherry and strawberry fruits are intermeshed with delicate anise, forest floor and spicy cedar characters. Polished fine grained tannins, medium power and a savoury finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
