Dark red core with black shaded edges and a red to dark red hue. Fragrant red currant and red liquorice aromas infused Mediterranean herbs are trailed by some dusty vanillin characters and mint notes. Juicy red currant and red liquorice fruits fill the mouth over an elegant back drop of fresh herb infusions, dusty earth and mint. Fresh crunchy like feel with vibrant acidity and fine grained tannins. The red fruited conclusion showing plenty of energy and vibe.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Whole bunches (30%) were included in an open ferment. It was bottled early, with no oak maturation, which might lead one to expect a fresh-and-fruity early drinker, so to speak, nothing serious, just a bit of fun. It is that, but it's a whole lot more too, with a serious fruit purity matched by a strong wave of tannins. Meanwhile, nut, purple flower and iodine aspects add genuine complexity to the rush of blackcurrant-driven fruit. The price to quality equation is well in the drinker's favour here. Drink by 2029.
