Matured in oak (15% new) for a period of 15 months. Midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated scents of liquorice, plum and black cherry make their way out of the glass trailed by some vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes. Juicy dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits are underscored by fresh acidity with some vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper characters lingering across the back half. Medium bodied it has fine grained tannins and a bright energetic finish.
