2022 Maude Mohawk Hill Pinot Noir

Expansive, concentrated and powerful Central Otago Pinot.

Mohawk Hiil is a single vineyard wine sourced from Maude’s Lowburn vineyard planted in 2008. It is only produced in great years.
Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Fragrant red to dark cherry, strawberry and violet scents engulf the olfactory senses with some trailing anise, forest floor, fresh herb and spice notes. Delicious red to dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits are expansive, concentrated and powerful in their flow across the palate. Brambly cedar, forest floor and spicy fresh herb infusions ensue. Supple mouth feel with bright acidity, velvety tannins and a long energetic red to dark fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
