2022 Lethbridge Pinot Gris

Made from handpicked Pinot Gris fruit, after being left on skins for between 6-8 hours, the fruit was then whole bunch pressed with careful oxidative juice handling. The juice was then transferred to a mixture of stainless steel tanks and 1200lt & 2500lt French foudre where fermentation by indigenous yeast took place on full solids.
Brilliant apricot tinged colour with a watery hue. Delightfully scented the nose offers up aromas of pear, red apple skin and hints of rose water followed by some faint honeysuckle, ginger spice and musk notes. Delicious spicy pear and red apple flavours have a slippery textural feel with infusions of musk and ginger lying underneath. Finishes dry and crisp with a long spicy pear and red apple aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
