2022 Langmeil Legendary Cabernet Shiraz

A ripe, generously endowed blend that carries a plush feel.

A blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42.9% Shiraz and 3.1% Malbec sourced from vines aged between 10 to 142 years old. Maturation took place in a mixture of 13% new French oak, 5% new American oak and 82% seasoned oak for a period of 24 months.
Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice flood the nostrils followed by some tobacco, vanillin cedar, subtle earthy dark chocolate and spice notes. Rich, fleshy textured blackcurrant, dark plum and liquorice fruits are layered across the palate with a plush feel. Lying underneath are earthy dark chocolate, vanillin cedar and spice characters. Ripe, polished tannin structure with a long, generously endowed finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
