2022 La Celia Eugenio Bustos Leyenda Malbec
Medium bodied, fleshy dark cherry and ripe blueberry fruits with a spicy finish.
Finca la Celia was founded in the 1880’s in the South of Mendoza’s Uco Valley. The owner Eugenio Bustos was the first to plant Malbec vines in the Uco Valley, now famed for producing the best Malbec in the world. La Celia is named after the founder’s daughter Celia who inherited the winery and managed it for several decades. The vineyard features soils packed with granite and limestone.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and blueberry aromas mix with dried herb and scorched earth notes. Medium bodied, fleshy dark cherry and ripe blueberry fruits meld into a back drop of dried herbs, earth and spice. Relatively polished tannins with a spicy medium length finish.
