2022 Kenny Wine Sevenhill Grenache

From vines planted in 1961 with 20% whole bunch fermentation and 7 months maturation in French oak. Dark red core with black shaded edges and a vibrant red purple tinged hue. Emanating from the glass are aromas of red raspberry, cherry and red liquorice followed by some fresh herb, crushed rock like notes and pepper. Bright juicy red raspberry and red liquorice fruits are scattered across the elegant palate with some ripe red cherry, crushed rock and peppered herb elements lying underneath. Finishes fresh with crunchy like acidity, polished tannins and a focused red fruited aftertaste. Trophy for best Grenache at the Clare Valley Wine Show
