Juicy dark fruits with an earthy leather backdrop, vibrant acidity and slightly chewy tannins.
Matured for 12 months in seasoned French oak. Dense pitch black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice and dark cherry have a subtle earthy barnyard like overlay with some vanillin cedar and peppered dried herb notes also evident. Rich dark cherry and liquorice fruits carry a juicy feel over an earthy leather and pepper back drop. Vibrant acidity with slightly chewy tannins and a mid length finish.
