2022 Irvine Altitude Merlot

Ripe and fleshy with sturdily built tannins lending some firmness across the generously fruited finish.

Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Blackcurrant, ripe plum and liquorice aromas are trailed by some vanillin cedar, tobacco, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Rich blackcurrant, liquorice and dark plum fruits flood the mouth with notions of spicy vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco, black olive and dried herb characters the undercard. Ripe fleshy mid palate feel with sturdily built tannins lending some firmness across the generously fruited finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
