Barrel matured in oak (23% new) for a period of 14 months. Midnight black colour with a vibrant red to dark red hue. Delightful red currant and red cherry aromas lead the way followed by hints of violet, vanillin cedar, delicate earth and spice. Very elegantly styled, the mid weighted palate features bright red currant and red cherry fruits over a background of dusty earth, vanillin cedar, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. Slightly dryish fine grained tannins with a refined mid length finish.
