2022 Grace Kayagatake Koshu

Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Drifting from the glass are pear and red apple scents followed by hints of honeysuckle, fresh herb and subtle flinty mineral notes. Light and crisp yet nicely rounded on the mid palate, it features delicate pear, lime and green apple fruits over a zingy flint and mineral infused back drop that gives it an electric stony feel. Finishes dry, edgy and crunchy.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks with no lees contact, the 2022 is ripe, richly perfumed with fresh green apple, white peach, Nashi pear and grapefruit aromas. There's vibrant acidity and concentrated fruits on the palate, pleasant and long. Drinking well now, though may evolve for another five years in the bottle. Drink 2023-2028.
