Includes 15% whole bunch with maturation taking place in French oak of which 28% was new. Semi translucent red to dark red in colour with black toned edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant violet, red cherry, strawberry and rhubarb scents are interwoven with hints of clove, forest floor and spicy cedar. Light in body, elegant red cherry and rhubarb flavours drive the palate with notions of forest floor, delicate fresh herb infusions and spicy cedar lying underneath. Finishes savoury with good freshness and fine grained tannins.
