2022 Donne Fittipaldi Bolgheri

A rich, generously endowed Tuscan red with assertive tannins.

Dense pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas lead the way followed by some Mediterranean herb, spicy cedar, red cherry and earthy graphite notes. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits are framed by assertive tannins which impart a chewy mouth feel. Bright acidity with earth, fresh herb and spicy cedar elements the undercard. Generously endowed with fruit it finishes with a firm grippy feel.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
