2022 Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret La Superbe Coteaux Bourguignons

A light, savoury red fruited Pinot that has a fresh energetic feel.

Produced from approximately 70% Gamay and 30% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from vines with an average age of 40 years old. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Attractive red to dark cherry and rhubarb scents are complimented by some violet, earth, fresh herb and spicy cedar notes. Light in body the palate features elegant red cherry and winter strawberry fruits over a fresh herb infused back drop of forest floor and delicate spicy cedar. Fresh energetic feel with fine grained tannins and a savoury red fruited conclusion.
