2022 Domaine Lavantureux Bourgogne Tonnerre

A light, elegant yet texturally rounded Chardonnay.

Brilliant pale straw core with yellow straw tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated pear, dried honey and lime aromas are trailed by some wet stone, oyster shell and mineral notes. Light and elegant yet texturally rounded, dried pear and citrus flavours overlay an almond, wet stone and mineral back drop. Brisk underlying acidity with a shapely mid length conclusion that carries a lingering roasted almond and saline character.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
