Nestled in the heart of Meursault, Domaine Latour-Giraud is a family-run estate known for crafting wines that beautifully express the village’s rich terroirs. With a focus on Chardonnay, their whites strike a balance between depth and precision, often showcasing the generous texture Meursault is famous for while retaining freshness and minerality. Whether from village-level plots or prized premier crus, Latour-Giraud’s wines reflect both tradition and a thoughtful, modern approach to winemaking.

Other Reviews....
Ripe and pretty aromas include those of mostly red berries and earth nuances. There is both good vibrancy and detail to the attractively textured middleweight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the mildly austere and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is firm enough to repay up to a decade of cellaring, which is just as well as it could use better overall depth. Worth considering, especially since this is a bit finer than usual. Drink through 2029+.

Mid crimson colour. The bouquet takes a little coaxing but has a clear density of dark fruit. There is a nutty note with cherry kernels as well, this is quite austere but a sound Pommard which continues well across the palate. Drink from 2026-2030.
