A slightly riper nose reflects notes of petrol, white peach and rosemary oil. There is more size and weight to the richer, even opulent and generously proportioned, medium weight flavors that terminate in a bitter lemon-inflected, attractively dry and long if mildly rustic finale. Drink through 2027+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

Planted in 2013 close by the Château de Chassagne. Clear pale lemon yellow, with quite an open bouquet, light apple fruit, without the complete feel of the Puligny. A little youthful bitterness, but good length, an attractive wine which does not quite challenge the Puligny. Drink from 2026-2030.
