Azienda Agricola COS was founded in 1980 in the town of Vittoria, located in the southeast of Sicily. Championing indigenous grape varietals since their inception, today they are one of the finest producers on the island. Pithos Rosso is 100% Nero d'Avola produced from 25-year-old vines thriving in red, limestone-rich soil. The wines undergo wild fermentation on skins and are matured in Amphora, otherwise known as "Pithos".
