Light in weight yet nicely fleshed with a fresh, savoury finish.

Semi translucent red colour with a light red hue. Aromas of red cherry, winter strawberry and subtle rhubarb mix with delicate fresh herb, earth and spice notes. Light in weight yet nicely fleshed, the palate features cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits over a subtle dried herb and spicy earth background. Fine grained tannins finishing fresh and savoury.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Chardonnay is the hero at Coppabella but this Pinot Noir does everything that it can to change that narrative. It’s an excellent Pinot Noir. It’s structural, it’s spicy, it has a floral prettiness and yet it feels serious, well-fruited and persistent. You can admire this wine from all angles. It tastes of stewed cherries, fresh strawberries, a run of sweet spice notes and something akin to red roses. It’s varietal, tasty, tannic and more-ish.
