2022 Closerie des Alisiers Chablis Vieilles Vignes

Aged in stainless steel tanks for 9 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with flashes of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted pear, green apple and lime aromas have a distinct wet slate overlay with some oyster shell notes also evident. Beautifully rounded and concentrated across the palate, pear and lime fruits overlay green apple, hints of dried honey, wet slate and oyster shell nuances. Finishes dry with brisk acidity and a river stone like feel to the medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
