Matured in French and American oak. Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas are intermeshed with toasty vanillin oak, hints of earthy dark chocolate and peppered fennel notes. Rich, sumptuous blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and dark chocolate flavours carry a plush feel across the palate. Toasty vanillin oak, earth and peppered fennel elements line the back half. Polished yet sturdy tannin structure. Showing impressive depth and power it finishes long and opulent.
