Fruit was sourced from the Eden Valley with aging taking place in new French oak puncheons for a period of 16 months. Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas infused with dried herbs rise through the nostrils. Also chiming in are smoky vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Rich juicy dark plum, black cherry and liquorice fruits are interwoven with smoky vanillin cedar, earth and peppery dried herb characters. Fine grained tannins with a fleshy mid length finish.
