2022 Allegrini Corte Giara Pinot Grigio

The Corte Giara range is an offspring of the famous Allegrini family in the Valpolicella region. Together with a few select winegrowers, they created a concept centred around modern and eclectic wines, representing great value for money, with international varietals through to Amarone, Recioto and other classic wines of the Veneto region.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Nosing reveals lifted scents of pear and red apple followed by a faint whiff of honeysuckle, musk and wet stone notes. Generous mouthfeel with delicious pear and red apple fruits gliding across the palate with a silken texture. Subtle dried honey and wet stone characters linger through the back half. Excellent intensity finishing dry, fresh and moreish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
