A rich, generously weighted red with firmish tannins and bright acidity.

Fruit was sourced from Riverland and Coonawarra. Black as night in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and leather followed by some subtle earthy tobacco and spice notes. Rich, generously weighted ripe blackcurrant and dark plum fruits dominate the medium to full bodied palate. Some liquorice, earthy leather and infusions of spicy garden herbs lie in the background. Firmish tannins with a ripe chewy finish underpinned by bright acidity.
