Matured for 24 months in new fine grained French oak barrels. Impenetrable inky black heart with an equally deep black dark red hue. Intense black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas are pitted against toasty oak, scorched earth, dried meat and blackpepper notes.
Exceptionally concentrated, rich and dense the palate is saturated with lavish black cherry, liquorice and blackberry fruits with vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper elements lining the back half. Opulent yet robust mouthfeel with a sturdy tannin structure. Outstanding power with a long decadently fruited yet muscular conclusion.
