Matured in French oak barrels. Deep dark red black tinged core with a purple red tinged hue. Aromas of red cherry infused with herbal notes drift from the glass followed by some graphite and spicy dried meat notes. Light in body the palate features frisky red cherry and red plum fruits which overlay a scorched earth, dried herb and spice back drop. Finely structured with bright acidity it has a savoury finish.
