2021 Soumah Barbera Nebbiolo

The classic pairing of two noble north-eastern Italian varieties combine here to create a savoury elegant red wine with soft fruit and charming length.
Fruit was sourced from Victoria’s King and Yarra Valley’s. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Nosing offers up a mix of red and morello cherry scents along with dried herb, earthy tobacco and spice notes. Juicy morello cherry, red liquorice and red plum fruits overlay a spicy back drop of dried herbs and subtle earthy tobacco characters. Slightly chewy tannins with lively acidity and a savoury aftertaste that has a generous feel to it.
