From vines planted in 1916 and 1926. Dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry aromas sail out of the glass with plenty of gusto followed by some vanillin confectionary like notes, earth and spice. Juicy dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice fruits drive the mid weighted palate and possess a lush feel. Spicy vanillin cedar and earth characters lie underneath. Velvet smooth tannins with a long and succulent finish.
