2021 Salo Chardonnay

From the Full Moon vineyard planted in the early 2000s at Wesburn. Whole-bunch pressed, wild ferment in older French puncheons and full mlf. A really vibrant green gold. Pure fruited with seductive nashi pear, almond skin and subtle wet rock and gun flint. Gently creamy but with racy, fresh acidity too. It's an excellent combination, making it delicious as a young wine but with the potential to age well too. Tops. Drink by 2028.
