Made from Nerello Mascalese grapes. Semi translucent dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red to brick red hue. Fragrant red cherry, rose petal and red currant aromas intermingle with Mediterranean herb, graphite and smoky mineral like notes. Light to medium weight, juicy red currant and red cherry fruits meld into a volcanic rock like back drop of graphite, infusions of mediterranean herbs and smoky mineral characteristics. Fresh crunchy acidity with gritty tannins and a taut red fruited finish that has a tangy feel to it.
