Includes 30% whole bunch fruit. Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Alluring plum and red liquorice scents infused with clove and violets show good intensity followed by some smoked meat and peppered earth notes. Rich dark cherry, plum and liquorice fruits carry medium body weight across what is a very savoury palate. Adding complexity are notions of dried clove, smoked meats, earth and spicy pepper. Fine grained tannins and a youthful freshness provide plenty of structure. Concludes long, savoury and refined.
