Other Reviews....
All whole bunch, all day long. Once was Roundstone Vineyard (now in Rising), now with Dixons Creek (de Bortoli) vineyard.
Mellow, gentle expression, quite a bit of ripe, red berry fruit on offer, a touch of hazlenut spread, some game meat, some general minerally character. Lively to taste but spreads itself beautifully and silky across the palate, so relaxed, kind of formless but this wrap of pleasure. Very copacetic. Drink 2021 - 2025.

From a north-facing slope on the De Bortoli vineyard in Dixons Creek, 100% whole bunches, no new oak. A light, very bright crimson. This took a while to open up before revealing a pure-fruited nose with raspberries and cherries, with some whole-bunch-derived lavender and spice notes. Even better on the palate, this is a savoury – yet at the same time pure and hedonistic – expression of gamay, to drink in the short–medium term. Drink by 2027.
