2021 Max & Me The House Blend Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

A rich, texturally pulpy blend with a dry, slightly grippy finish.

Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced plum and liquorice scents have a prominent vanillin confectionery overlay with some choc mint and spice notes also evident. Rich, fleshy liquorice and ripe plum fruits are interwoven with choc mint, strong vanillin cedar, spice and earth elements. Pulpy textural feel with velvety yet underlyingly firm tannins. Dryish, slightly grippy finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

A plushly-fruited and high-toned shiraz/cabernet sauvignon blend from the Boongarrie vineyard, between Keyneton and the Eden Valley township. Deep crimson with aromas of blackberry, dark plum and black cherry with hints of dark spice, licorice, proving dough, tobacco leaf, sage, purple flowers, earth and dark chocolate. Medium bodied with a lively, bright fruit flow, a base of wild herbs and spice and a medium-length finish. Drink by 2030.
