2021 Howard Park Flint Rock Chardonnay

Matured for 9 months on lees in a combination of tank and older oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct glimmer of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Nosing offers up an attractive mix of white peach, nectarine, citrus and dried honey scents followed by hints of crème brulee and light spice. The fresh mid weighted palate has a focused flavour profile of white peach and nectarine fruits over lemony nougat characters and faint notions of creme brulee. Finishes with a lick of flinty minerality on the refined medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
