Rich, large scaled, thickly textured and power packed Barossa Shiraz.

Dense and viscous with a pitch black core and equally deep dark red black hue. Heady aromatics engulf the nostrils led by black plum, liquorice and black cherry scents trailed by some smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich, lavish and incredibly concentrated, the large scaled palate is coated with a thick layer of black plum, liquorice and ripe black cherry fruits. Fennel, vanillin cedar, scorched earth and pepper elements lurk underneath. Deep, power packed and boasting amazing density, it has a sturdy yet velvet like tannin structure and long, decadent finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 15.5%

Other Reviews……
Shiraz sourced from 1993 plantings at the Greenock Creek estate in Seppeltsfield. Purpley hued and displaying all the requisite estate concentration. This wine, all macerated plum, blueberry and summer fruits, has a ferrous edge to its form along with layers of baking spice, blueberry pie, licorice and fruitcake. There is a perfume in the mouth too, a velvety slide of jasmine and violets, before it slides away with fine tannins and concentrated blue and black fruits. Drink by 2035.
