Rich, full and opulently textured yet firmly structured.
Aged in new and seasoned French oak. Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense blackcurrant and liquorice aromas flood the nostrils mixing with some smoky cedar, earthy black olive and spice notes along the way. Rich and concentrated, the palate is saturated with blackcurrant and liquorice fruits. Notions of scorched earth, vanillin cedar, subtle black olive and spice unfold across the back half. Opulently textured yet firmly structured it shows impressive power finishing long and lush yet robust with a slightly chewy feel.
