Rich yet refined with sturdily built tannins and a long, elegant finish.
A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 2% Shiraz matured for 18 months in French oak barriques (15% new). Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Filling the nostrils are aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry infused with black olive trailed by some dusty cedar, subtle spicy tobacco and bay leaf notes. Rich yet refined in its structure, the palate is decorated with blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which sit over a spicy vanillin cedar, tobacco, earthy black olive and bay leaf background. Sturdily built tannins finishing long and elegant.
