2021 Dexter Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green to the edges and a watery hue. The refined nose exhibits delicate white peach and nectarine scents which meld into subtle dried honey, lightly toasted biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and spice notes. Slightly more open than the nose yet still lean and focused in its feel, nectarine, pear and citrus fruits are to the fore with some biscuity oak, faint cashew and a subtle flintiness lying underneath. Finishes with plenty of freshness and a dash of spice on the elegant mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
