2021 Derwent Estate Pinot Noir

Rich and supple with an expansive peacocks tail like power wave.

From 28 year old vines with 15% whole bunch inclusion and maturation in French oak (25% new). Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Expressive red cherry, strawberry and rhubarb scents are trailed by some dried herb, forest floor and delicate spicy cedar notes. Rich red to dark cherry, strawberry and red liquorice fruits flow supplely across the palate with a peacocks tail like power wave. Bramble, dried herb, forest floor and spicy cedar elements ensue. Silky smooth tannins with a long expansive finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
