2021 Chalmers Col Fondo Sparkling

Made from Aglianico grapes. A well portioned mousse holds well over a salmon pink coloured base that has a spritely stream of tiny bubbles flowing through it. Engaging raspberry and pommegrante aromas mix with blood orange and leesy orange rind like notes. Light and airy but also very zesty across the palate, blood orange, tangerine and ruby grapefruit flavours have a fruit tingle like feel. Finishes very dry, slightly tart and crisp with some lemon sherbet and chalky mineral characters also present. Zingy and highly refreshing aftertaste.
