2021 Buckshot Vineyard Heathcote Shiraz

Inky black in colour with a bright dark purple hue. Showing good elevation out of the glass are blackberry, liquorice and ripe plum scents followed by hints of blueberry, lightly smoked vanillin cedar, clove and peppered earth notes. Medium to full in body the palate carries a youthful freshness and juicy feel with dark plum, liquorice and ripe blueberry fruits to the fore. Vanillin cedar, subtle earth and pepper characters lie underneath. Polished tannins with a refined medium to long conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
