The fruit for this wine is sourced from a neighbouring vineyard. After a short time on skins the grapes were gently pressed, fermentation is stopped with just a hint of residual sweetness to balance the crisp fruit profile, creating a zippy yet approachable Pinot Gris.
Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the edges. Elevated pear and red apple aromas mix with subtle dried honey, quince and spice notes. Luscious ripe pear and red apple fruits overlay a light honeysuckle, quince and spice back drop. Brisk acidity brings balance and freshness to the long delicious finish.
