2021 Adelina Polish Hill River Ruchioch Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct ring of green skirting around the edges and a watery hue. Pronounced lime and red apple scents mix with orange blossom, light wet steel and mineral notes. Fresh lemon and lime zest fruits drive the palate, underpinned by steely acidity which gives it a tense feel. Finishes dry with a long, focused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Interesting style here, and while it’s made the same way as the Watervale and Polish Hill, it’s quite different. Vanilla and white flower perfume, citrus and cider apple, zesty character too, with a fine powdery texture, and a slightly sour-edged finish of fine length. Drink 2021-2027+
