2020 Singlefile Tempranillo

Thirty percent of this wine was matured in single use Bordeaux oak barriques with the balance in 2 year old Bordeaux barriques for 7 months. Very deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright purple red hue. Lifted freshly crushed dark cherry aromas are interwoven with red liquorice, inky earth and fragrant herb notes. Mid weighted the palate is flooded with juicy dark cherry and red liquorice fruits which are backed by vanillin cedar, inky earth and spicy herb infusions. Lively acidity with slightly chalky tannins and a fruity, youthful inky finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
